DESIGN
The design of Nitro was heavily influenced by Kamen Rider Kabuto and the Rocket Racer character from Lego Racers (childhood game). When I first did the design for Nitro, I had a Megaman influence in the look (Turbo Man from Mega Man 7 to be precise) with exhaust tubes being the crown part of his helmet. Nitro seemed to be a bit more robotic than human and it was getting too complex for me to even consider the first design to be Rider worthy. I scrapped the old design (kept the henshin device and the Nitro memory logo) and redesigned Nitro having a mix of Kabuto and Go-Onger (the round bits near the elbows and knees) and it turned out much better than the previous design.

I'll work on the story sometime soon.
